Position Summary:

We are looking for passionate and highly motivated Internship Trainees in Architecture to embark on a transformative learning journey with our futuristic and visionary pan-India Architecture firm. This entry-level training position is designed for fresh graduates eager to gain hands-on experience and develop foundational skills under the direct mentorship of our experienced Architects and Senior Architects. You will play a supportive role in preparing architectural drawings, assisting with design development, and contributing to the seamless coordination between design and construction teams. Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Internship Trainee (Architecture), you will actively support the Jr. Architect, Architects and Senior Architects, gaining practical experience in various aspects of architectural design and project delivery, including but not limited to:

• Design Development & Documentation Support:

  • Assist Architects in the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, from initial sketches to detailed drawings.

  • Prepare and refine architectural drawings (2D & 3D CAD) and Building Information Models (BIM) under supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.

  • Help develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details from sketches and design inputs.

  • Support the preparation of design briefs, master plans, and comprehensive architectural documentation.

• Project Coordination & Integration Assistance:

  • Learn about the seamless integration of design with construction methodologies, scheduling, and cost estimation within our turnkey model.

  • Assist in coordinating architectural designs with structural, MEP, landscape, and other specialist consultants.

  • Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering discussions, observing and providing input on design optimization.

• Client & Stakeholder Support:

  • Support Architects in preparing presentation materials for client interactions and design review meetings.

  • Help organize and compile client feedback for design revisions.

• Technical Compliance & Quality Awareness:

  • Learn about national and local building codes, zoning laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations relevant to architectural design.

  • Assist in reviewing architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

  • Support the team in identifying non-conformances and understanding corrective action plans to maintain design integrity and quality.

• Reporting & Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain meticulous records of design iterations, client feedback, change orders, and all project-related architectural documentation.

  • Assist in preparing design progress reports and technical presentations for the Architect and project teams.

  • Maintain the drawing register and ensure engineering documentation is up-to-date.

• Learning & Professional Development:

  • Actively seek opportunities to learn from Architects, Senior Architects, and other experienced team members across various disciplines (construction, PMC).

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, construction technologies, and sustainable design practices.

  • Participate in internal training sessions, workshops, and site visits to gain practical exposure.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a Council of Architecture (COA) recognized institution, recently graduated.

  • Freshers with a three-year Diploma program in (D,Arch) may be considered if supplemented with a strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design aptitude.

• Professional Registration:

  • Not required for an internship, but a keen interest in pursuing COA registration upon graduation is highly valued.

• Certifications (Desirable, but not mandatory for freshers):

  • Certifications in software (e.g., AutoCAD/ArchiCAD, Google Sketchup/3DSMax, Lumion/V-Ray, Photoshop/Coral draw).

  • Familiarity with BIM software.

Expertise & Experience:

• No prior professional experience is required; this is a training role for freshers.

• Strong academic record in architectural design and related subjects.

• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for academic projects.

• Basic understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts and software (e.g., Autodesk Revit Architecture) from academic projects is a plus.

• Familiarity with rendering and visualization software (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray) from academic work is desirable.

• Foundational knowledge of Indian building codes, local regulations, and construction materials/technologies.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.
